Leon Zobel, TOSCA “Artist of the Year”, is a native Minnesotan artist. He has been drawing since a young child and painting for the past 30 years. Leon’s art work is generally paint with acrylics and a palette knife, often using genuine gold, silver or copper leaf. Leon’s abstract designs with bold textures are common interpretations of water, sailing & marinas, forests, evergreen trees and abstract florals. The pieces reflect a natural harmony, a distinct texture and a depth that continues beyond. His art is shown in many US states, coast to coast, and in Australia, Europe and Canada. Leon is currently a featured artist at our store, Creative Lighting, in St. Paul, MN. Please join us for an open house featuring work by Leon Zobel and three other local artists on June 27, 2013 from 6-8pm.
We look forward to seeing you there!
