It’s all about lighting L-O-V-E this month and we continue to fall head over heels for a particular vendor known as
With a stunning January market release, Varaluz keeps the hits on coming with fresh and exciting designs that have us nothing less than smitten. The most exciting part? The new product selected by our team is already up and on display in the showroom! Here’s a few reasons why we think you all will be Lovin’ the Luz this year.
GOING FOR GOLD
It’s no secret that gold has taken over the design industry. Its dramatic and revised return in muted shades can been seen everywhere in the lighting marketplace. We were delighted to see the trending finish represented so beautifully in two specific family additions this year- the six light orb pendant from the CASABLANCA SERIES, and the new three light hexagonal pendant addition to the already popular FASCINATION SERIES. Both collections boasting the beautiful and softly muted ZEN GOLD finish boldly, and we couldn’t have been more pleased.
ALL THAT GLIMMERS
Shimmer and shine is high on our radar this year and Varaluz did not disappoint us. Their beautiful new BARCELONA BATH FIXTURES took center stage with a wonderful mixture of hand-forged metals and heirloom quality crystals, fit to transform even the gloomiest of bathroom spaces. We were pleasantly surprised with the return of an old favorite to the product line- the BRILLIANCE WALL SCONCE. The stunning crystallized glass work on this original favorite proved to us why not all good things should come to an end.
RHYTHM AND FLOW
A familiar face to our showroom floor, the FLOW SERIES is captivating at first glance. A design based on organic movement, this entire product line will leave your eyes intrigued and begging for more. The two light wall sconce shown here is hand-forged out of recycled steel, and wears a hand-applied Hammered Ore finish.
We were anxiously anticipating an expansion to the LOFTY SERIES this market, and our expectations were far exceeded with bold new shapes and a variety of pieces to choose from. The strong lines of this six light linear pendant, made with recycled steel and warm woods, models a perfect example of the popularity of mixing materials and finishes in modern day design. Warm with cool, bronze with gold, the combinations keep unfolding. Another great representation of this was unveiled in the JAKE SERIES. Clean lines and familiar structures are wrapped in a finish combination that could only modernize the look.
